"Great apps, but the subscription made me clutch my wallet"
I use PDF Expert and Spark here and there, they’re solid. PDF Expert does what I need without making me want to throw my laptop into the ocean, and Spark is clean and easy enough to deal with. Syncing is usually fine too, which feels like a small miracle these days.

But the subscription price? Whew. For how casually I use them, it feels like I’m being asked to fund a tiny tech empire. If you’re in these apps every single day, sure, maybe it makes sense, but for occasional use it’s a bit much. I’d love a cheaper plan or a one-time purchase option so I don’t feel like I need to schedule a financial planning session just to edit a PDF.

"The offline mode is useless for..."
The offline mode is useless for me. If I don’t have internet, I can’t even open my files, which kind of defeats the whole point...

"I tried connecting it to my calendar, it..."
I tried connecting it to my calendar, it just never felt reliable. Some events wouldn’t show up, others appeared way too late, and I kept having to go in and fix things myself. Maybe I’m only remembering the annoying parts, but those are the parts that stuck with me. For what I needed, it ended up being more hassle than help

"Is anyone else having trouble logging in?"
I tried signing into my Readdle account and it felt like it kept sending me in circles. Even the password reset took longer than I expected. The app itself is fine and I still like using it, but getting into my account was way more frustrating than it should be. Curious if other people are running into the same login issues?

"Notifications actually show up when they’re supposed to"
I’ve been using Readdle mostly for the everyday stuff, like checking email, keeping up with calendar invites, getting reminders for meetings, and making sure I don’t miss random work messages. So far, the notifications have been really dependable, which matters more to me than a bunch of extra features I’ll never use.
Meeting alerts pop up when they should, mail notifications come through right away, and I’m not sitting there wondering if something got delayed. I’ve had other apps where a calendar reminder shows up after the meeting already started, or an email ping comes in way late, or nothing appears until I unlock my phone, but I haven’t really had that problem here. Even if my phone has been locked on my desk, in my bag, or sitting untouched for a while, the alerts still show up like they’re supposed to.

It’s not the kind of app experience where I have some dramatic story to tell, it just does the job. For me, that means not missing a client call, not forgetting a lunch meeting, not overlooking a flight reminder, not being late to a Zoom, and not having to keep opening the app to check if anything came in. Reliable notifications are a small thing until they’re not, and Readdle has been solid for me.

"Honestly, it bugs out way too much"
I mean, it just keeps glitching and crashing, i’m kind of tired of having to mess with it all the time just to get it working again.

"Solid apps, but I wish the privacy details were clearer"
I use a few Readdle apps and overall they’ve been good for what I need. They usually work smoothly, so no big complaints there. The only thing that makes me hesitate a bit is the privacy side of things. When I’m using cloud features, I’m not always totally sure what’s being stored, synced, or where it’s going. It might all be completely standard, but I’d feel a lot better if the settings and explanations were a little more straightforward. I just like knowing exactly what’s happening with my data. Good apps overall, I’d just appreciate a bit more clarity and reassurance.

"I use Readdle apps often, and..."
I use Readdle apps often, and when everything is working smoothly, they’re super helpful. I’ve gotten kind of used to having them around, like my usual coffee mug that somehow makes the morning feel more organized. But every now and then, sync just hangs or the app freezes for no obvious reason, which is frustrating when I’m trying to get something done quickly. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does break the flow a bit. Hopefully the reliability gets tightened up because the apps are great when they behave

"Pricing felt straightforward to me"
What I appreciated about Readdle was that the price was laid out clearly before I paid. To me, that makes a big difference because I really don’t like feeling tricked by extra charges later. Nothing unexpected showed up afterward, which was the main thing I was hoping for.

"A bit too slow when I’m trying to move fast"
I wanted to like this more, and in some ways I do, but the app just feels slower than I expected. Like, I’ll go to open a file, then switch folders, then remember I only needed one tiny thing anyway, and by that point I’m already annoyed because it’s taking longer than it should. It’s not broken or impossible to use, but the lag gets in the way when I’m trying to do something quick. Hopefully the performance gets better in a future update

"Really easy email app to use"
I’ve been using readdle for my email and, like I said, it’s been really smooth so far. Switching between inboxes is simple, and finding older messages doesn’t turn into a whole hassle. Like I said, it just feels cleaner than a lot of other email apps I’ve tried. Setup was quick too, which I appreciated. It pretty much does what I need without making things complicated.

"Pretty accurate scanner most of the time"
Umm, it’s a accurate scanner most of the time. It does miss the edges here and there, but overall it still works well.

"iCloud sync has been super smooth"
I’ve been using Readdle mostly with my iCloud files, and it’s worked really well for me. I’ll save something on my iPad while sitting at the kitchen table, then it’s already there on my iPhone a minute later when I go to check it. I like not having to drag files around or email myself random PDFs like I used to. There was one time where a file took a little longer to show up, but it sorted itself out without me doing anything. Straightforward app, not flashy, just does what I need.

"I reached out thinking it might..."
I reached out thinking it might turn into one of those back-and-forth things where they dodge the real issue or try to push something extra, but they actually got back to me really quickly and fixed it right away. Painless overall.

"Pretty good apps, nothing too complicated"
I been using their apps for a bit now, mostly PDF Expert, and it works real smooth. Saves me time when I’m dealing with files and stuff. I did have one small sync issue once, but support got back quick and helped me sort it out.

"It feels secure enough that I’m..."
It feels secure enough that I’m not sitting there worrying about it. If anything goes wrong, I’d blame myself before the security setup, because it seems solid so far.

"Pretty good OCR, but it still has its moments"
I’ve been using this mostly for scanning random documents from my desk, including a few old receipts I probably should’ve thrown away months ago. For clean, clear scans, the OCR works well and usually gets the text right. But when the page is messy, faded, or has weird formatting, it starts mixing up words often. It’s still useful overall, but it definitely needs some polishing

"Pretty good for organizing stuff"
I’ve been using Readdle mostly for PDFs and a few work documents, at least for the way I need it. It’s been helpful for moving things around and keeping files sorted without much hassle. The syncing does feel a little slow sometimes, though I’m not totally sure if that’s the app or just my setup. Overall, it’s still been useful.

"Pretty good for PDF editing, I think"
I mostly use readdle for editing PDFs, and it does the job well. Changing text, adding notes, and signing documents are all fairly easy, at least from what I’ve used it for. Moving things around can feel a little fiddly sometimes, though maybe that’s just me not being super precise with it. Overall I’m happy with it, but I wouldn’t say it’s perfect.

"I had a billing issue my first reaction..."
I had a billing issue my first reaction was like, “Seriously?” The refund did come through eventually, but it took longer than I would’ve liked.
